Cathy also speaks fluent Mandarin.
We asked Cathy a Few Questions:
Favourite part of being a Vet?
I enjoy talking to and building long lasting relationships with pet parents and their furkids, looking after them throughout their different life stages.
With fear-free handling (and sometime the help of medications), I enjoy helping anxious pets feel comfortable going to the vets by spending time to get to know them, it’s so wonderful to see an anxious dog walking out the clinic door wagging its tail or a cat not wanting to go back to its carrier after a check up!
What I love about Epsom Road Vet?
I love the “Family Doctor” atmosphere where everyone is so friendly, welcoming and neighbourly.
We also have a great team of vets and nurses who complement each other’s skill sets and strengths.
What is your veterinary superpower?
I have a knack for getting blood and urine samples from cranky ‘misunderstood’ cats!

A passion for animals has always been a constant, and Georgia knew she wanted to be a vet by five years of age. Volunteering at a local vet clinic during school holidays, and then eventually working there as a kennel hand, Georgia has taken every opportunity to help in the vet industry.
Enjoying all aspects of general veterinary practice, Georgia is particularly interested in dermatology and dentistry.
Every owner is their pet’s voice. Georgia feels it is a privilege to foster a relationship of trust with our clients in order to provide the best care for their furry friends, ensuring they are treated with the respect and gentleness they deserve.
