Why I love being part of the Epsom Road Vet team.
I love getting to know our patients and their families—their little quirks, personalities, and watching them grow through all stages of life. It’s so rewarding to be able to support them in staying happy and healthy along the way. I also feel really lucky to work with such a caring and supportive team of vets and nurses, who show up every day with so much dedication and heart for our patients and each other.

Outside of work, Cathy is kept busy with husband Jack, two kids Joshua and Caitlyn, as well as her 15 year old cat, Kiki.

Cathy also speaks fluent Mandarin.

We asked Cathy a Few Questions:

Favourite part of being a Vet?
I enjoy talking to and building long lasting relationships with pet parents and their furkids, looking after them throughout their different life stages.
With fear-free handling (and sometime the help of medications), I enjoy helping anxious pets feel comfortable going to the vets by spending time to get to know them, it’s so wonderful to see an anxious dog walking out the clinic door wagging its tail or a cat not wanting to go back to its carrier after a check up!

What I love about Epsom Road Vet?
I love the “Family Doctor” atmosphere where everyone is so friendly, welcoming and neighbourly.
We also have a great team of vets and nurses who complement each other’s skill sets and strengths.

What is your veterinary superpower?
I have a knack for getting blood and urine samples from cranky ‘misunderstood’ cats!
