Senior Health Checks
As time goes on, we start to notice ourselves getting a bit slower, it also sadly happens to our pets. That’s why it’s important to make sure that you look after your buddy with Epsom Road Vet’s senior health check ups.
When pets reach 8 or 9 years of age, they are considered to be seniors and their health and care requirements start to change.
It doesn’t have to mean a big adjustment or that you need to make big changes, but you’ll need to keep an eye out for them.
From the age of 10 years, we recommend senior health checks every 6 months, and earlier in large breeds – so we can catch and stay on top of any uncomfortable or dangerous health conditions.
These check ups will include a blood and urine test every year and are also a great opportunity to chat to us about any concerns you may have and to re-evaluate your pet’s diet and exercise routine.
